Shelley is a Pennsylvania licensed massage therapist that has been practicing in the Jim Thorpe area since 1989. She was a Co-Founder and previous owner of Mountain Massage, Inc. at Split Rock Resort in the Poconos. She also co-developed "The Gift of Touch" massage experience which included a twelve city massage expo with Massage Magazine.

Her massage journey began with training at the Buck Hill School of Massage. She has trained with many notable massage practitioners including Dean Juhan, Paul St. John, Carol Osborne- Sheets, and the late Margaret Machado. Her bodywork modalities include acupressure, aromatherapy, Mayan Abdominal Massage, Prenatal/Pregnancy Massage, Reiki Healing, Sports, Swedish, and intuitive healing techniques.

 

In 2017, Shelley went back to school at Carbon Career & Technical School and became a licensed esthestician.


Shelley’s spiritual path has taken her to The Omega Institute for Holistic Studies and the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health for numerous workshops over 20 years. Shelley has also spent a month in retreat at the Himalayan Institute.

Amy is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodwork and both a New York and Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing massage for more than 17 years. A graduate of Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, New Jersey she has completed both their National Certification and Professional's Program/Medical Massage Certification. In addition she is certified in mastectomy massage.


Her training includes many modalities allowing each session to be personalized to the needs of the individual. These include Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, shiatsu, sports (pre- and post-event), and pre- and post-natal massage.

 

While practicing these different modalities regularly, Amy's specializes in rehabilitative therapy, working in conjunction with her clients' doctors and physical therapists to promote healing, and in sports massage to help enhance performance.

Ilyse Rae Garber, LAc

Ilyse has a M.Ac. (Masters of Acupuncture), from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also has a BFA from Temple University, Tyler School of Art.  In 2005 she completed a ten-month Medical Qigong teaching apprentice program with The Heart of Healing in Westtown, PA. 

 

As an acupuncturist, Ilyse utilizes her training in Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) styles, among others.  In her study of Chinese medicine, she has come to the knowledge that illness and health appear differently in each person, therefore, it is of utmost importance to treat each patient on an individual level addressing his or her unique needs and health goals.  It is her aim as a practitioner of acupuncture to address not only the physical health concerns of her patients but the mental, emotional and spirit aspects of their being; to bring her patients back to wholeness in body, mind, and spirit so they can live life to its full potential. 

 

Her strong suits are attention to patient care, genuine empathy for the human condition, and strong verbal and interpersonal skills. 

Deborah Dyer, LMT

Deb graduated from the Florida College of Natural Health in 2001 with an Associate of Science degree in Natural Health with a concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage.  The program included certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage. Deb is also trained in Massage Cupping and Cold Stone headache and sinus treatments.

 

Deb has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the field of holistic bodywork. Her proficiencies include a full range of massage techniques, spa treatments, energy work, pre- and postnatal massage, and medical protocols, makes her both a very versatile and experienced massage therapist.
