Amy Levinson, LMT, NCBTMB

Amy is the General Manager of Jim Thorpe Massage & Wellness Studio.  She is  Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and both a New York and Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist. She has been practicing massage for more than 18 years. A graduate of Healing Hands Institute in Westwood, New Jersey she completed both their National Certification and Professional's Program/Medical Massage Certification. In addition she is certified in mastectomy massage.


Her training includes many modalities allowing each session to be personalized to the needs of the individual. These include Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, shiatsu, sports (pre- and post-event), and pre- and post-natal massage.

 

While practicing these different modalities regularly, Amy's specializes in rehabilitative therapy, working in conjunction with her clients' doctors and physical therapists to promote healing, and in sports massage to help enhance performance.

Ilyse Rae Garber, LAc

Ilyse has a M.Ac. (Masters of Acupuncture), from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, and is nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also has a BFA from Temple University, Tyler School of Art.  In 2005 she completed a ten-month Medical Qigong teaching apprentice program with The Heart of Healing in Westtown, PA. 

 

As an acupuncturist, Ilyse utilizes her training in Five Element and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) styles, among others.  In her study of Chinese medicine, she has come to the knowledge that illness and health appear differently in each person, therefore, it is of utmost importance to treat each patient on an individual level addressing his or her unique needs and health goals.  It is her aim as a practitioner of acupuncture to address not only the physical health concerns of her patients but the mental, emotional and spirit aspects of their being; to bring her patients back to wholeness in body, mind, and spirit so they can live life to its full potential. 

 

Her strong suits are attention to patient care, genuine empathy for the human condition, and strong verbal and interpersonal skills. 

Deborah Dyer, LMT

Deb graduated from the Florida College of Natural Health in 2001 with an Associate of Science degree in Natural Health with a concentration in Advanced Therapeutic Massage.  The program included certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage. Deb is also trained in Massage Cupping and Cold Stone headache and sinus treatments.

 

Deb has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the field of holistic bodywork. Her proficiencies include a full range of massage techniques, spa treatments, energy work, pre- and postnatal massage, and medical protocols, makes her both a very versatile and experienced massage therapist.

Taryn  Koch, LMT

Taryn graduated in 2011 from McCann School of Business and Technology, Hazleton Campus with an Associate of Science Degree in Professional Massage Therapy.  Upon graduation, Taryn was employed both at McCann and The Spa at Eagle Rock. 

 

In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, Taryn is also certified in Thai Yoga Massage, Oncology Massage, and is a Reiki/Energy Healing Practitioner and Spiritual Counselor.  She is always looking to learn new ways to bring health and healing to her clients.

Cynthia Vineis, LMT LE

Cynthia is both a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist  and Licensed Esthetician. In the over 20 years that she has been practicing, she has developed the skills required to "read" the body and apply the appropriate pressure and techniques, creating a unique experience combining therapeutic light touch, cranial sacral and many other techniques.  Cynthia is also a level III Reiki practitioner and can incorporate energy work into your session if desired.

Selena Washburn, LMT

Selena is a Pennsylvania Licensed Massage Therapist practicing since 2002.  She studied deep tissue massage at Health Options Institute and then continued her studies to include additional therapeutic techniques including trigger point, myofascial release, cranial sacral and soft tissue melting.  These techniques are combined in every massage.

 

Selena believes that every body is unique and therefore every massage should be as well, addressing each individual as they are that day.  The goal of each massage is to bring the body to its most relaxed state, achieving homeostasis.  Selena believes every body, no matter its shape or condition can benefit from incorporating massage into a health conscious routine.
